Make your
own Breather Pipe |
Cost: $3
Difficulty: 2 of 5
Tools Required: 1/4 drill, wrench
Is Mod reversible?: No |
|
In theory,
breather pipes allow the release of pressure in the head
thus allowing your 50 to rev up faster. |
|
| Step

your workbench, notice the recessed circle at the bottom

Step
3:
Go down to your local hardware
store and look for approximately 4ft of 1/4" braided
nylon tubing (be sure it's heat resistance). Bring your
valve cap along with you and ensure that the tubing will
fit into the recessed circle we spoke of earlier. While
you're there, look for a small tube of high-heat silicon
sealant. You'll need it later to seal the tube to the
valve cap. |
